The display is designed as a drive-up show, not a walk-through — there are tripping hazards throughout the yard and it is not set up for foot traffic. Many families drive up, stop, and tune their car radio to 106.9 FM to enjoy the show. When you're done, you can drive into the neighborhood — go to the top of the intersection and turn left or right — and walk the surrounding streets to see other lights up close. Please don't block neighbors' driveways.

The show starts at 6:30 PM every night.

Sunday – Thursday: 6:30 PM – 8:55 PM
Friday & Saturday: 6:30 PM – 9:25 PM

All times are approximate and weather permitting.

The full music playlist runs about 20 minutes and then repeats continuously. So you can arrive any time between 6:30 and the end of the night and hear a complete show. Sunday–Thursday runs about 2.5 hours total; Friday–Saturday runs about 3 hours.

The 2026 Lewis Halloween Light Show runs October 16 – October 31, 2026, every night of the season.

There is no dedicated parking lot. Post Road is a busy road, so don't stop in the travel lanes. Turn into the residential neighborhood at the top of the intersection and park on the side streets — just don't block neighbors' driveways. The side streets make for a nice walk too.

No. There are no tickets and no registration. The show is open to anyone who drives or walks by.

Tune your car radio to 106.9 FM. The music plays in exact sync with the lights via a low-power FM transmitter (FCC Part 15C compliant). Reception is strongest directly in front of the display.

The display uses two Light-O-Rama 16-channel computerized light controllers (32 channels total), sequenced to music on a Windows PC and broadcast on a low-power FM transmitter. Each channel can turn on/off, dim, ramp, twinkle, and shimmer independently — all timed to the beat of each song.

The show is weather permitting. Rain, high winds, or extreme conditions may cause the show to be cancelled or shortened without prior notice. We don't have a hotline — if the weather looks rough, the show is likely off. Clear evenings are the best bet.

We don't currently have a real-time cancellation notification system. The safest approach is to check the local weather forecast — if it's raining, the show is likely cancelled. You're also welcome to email us if you're not sure.
